Jibril A.S Cursed These Three People
Are you one of them?
The Reward of Fasting
Three people whom Jibril A.S cursed
Consequence(s) of committing sins during Ramadan
Assalamu Alaikum Brothers and Sisters,
The month of Ramadan is here, wrapped in the warmth of Allah's blessings.
It's a time when the gates of Hell are shut, and the doors of Heaven swing wide open.
In this sacred month, Satan (Shaytan) is caged, allowing believers to engage in good deeds with greater ease.
Fasting Ramadan comes with great rewards, as the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) beautifully conveyed:
"For every good deed that the son of Adam does, he will have (the reward of) ten the like thereof, except for fasting. It is for Me, and I shall reward for it."
From this reference we can see that Ramadan is a month of blessings, but for some people it can be a month of bad fortune. We will discuss this topic in today’s newsletter.

Three people cursed
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) once was climbing the steps of the Mimbar, on climbing each step he said “Ameen”
This unusual act of him (PBUH) made the Sahaba R.A curious, and they asked him about it.
He (PBUH) replied:
"When I went up the first step, Jibril, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came to me and said, 'Wretched is the slave to whom Ramadan comes and when it passes from him, is not forgiven.' I said, 'Amen.' Then he said, 'Wretched is the slave who has one or both of his parents alive and they do not let him enter the Garden.' I said, 'Amen.' Then he said, 'Wretched is a slave who does not bless you when you are mentioned in his presence,' and I said, 'Amen.'"
Jibril (A.S.) cursed three people in this Hadith:
The one who experiences Ramadan but misses out on forgiveness.
The one living with parents yet fails to enter paradise.
The one who neglects to send blessings upon the Prophet (PBUH) when his name is uttered.
Since we are talking about Ramadan here, let's delve into the person who might miss out on forgiveness during Ramadan.
It could be someone who either neglects to fast altogether or fails to safeguard the sanctity of their fast.
Be careful of your actions as Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) warned:
"Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (i.e., Allah will not accept his fasting)."
Throughout this month, you will see so many people backbiting, lying, abusing, and showing anger during their fast, and yet they are unaware of the consequences of their Action.
May Allah SWT guide us All.
Our 1st book is now published on Amazon KDP (Ramadan Fasting Made Easy, practical guide for busy Muslims to maximize rewards and wipe out sins)
Dear Brothers and Sisters, as we immerse ourselves in the blessings of Ramadan, let's not just fast but protect our fast.
It's a time to cleanse not just our bodies but our hearts and tongues.
Let's avoid sinful acts like lying, backbiting, and abusing, as they tarnish the sanctity of our fasts.
May this Ramadan be a source of true transformation, where our fasts are a reflection of our sincere devotion.
Let's strive to be among those blessed souls who emerge forgiven and uplifted in the eyes of Allah SWT.
Wishing you a Ramadan filled with peace, reflection, and spiritual growth.
JazakAllah Khair
